Connect By IP! - Update 1.3

While only a little has changed this update is a major game changer! You can now connect to servers via IP, this should allow for players to connect to their friends without the need of a VPN, hopefully all of you new players can enjoy the multiplayer experience!
To find your IP open command prompt and type ipconfig, it will be your ipv4 address, other players can then use that ip on the main menu to join you!
Additions:
- Addition of JOIN by IP button to menu, allowing for long-range multiplayer

Dude, this is one of the coolest early access games I've seen on this site. I'm hugely impressed. Do you have a discord server or something my friends and I can join? We'd love to talk about it and report bugs we find. Thanks!
I'm thrilled to see that you enjoyed it! as of yet there isnt a discord server for it, but as the game has increased in popularity i will work on creating one. ill post a blog once its finished and available, cant wait to see you guys there!

How would you do this vpn method? Cuz the ip connect no works?
for servers to show up you need to be on he same network as the server's machine, most vpn's let you create custom networks and let others connect to you, itll be different for each vpn so i would try and find a free vpn service and look up how to create a network for that service
not working for me. I've tried my friends public and ipv4 addresses but nothing happens when I push the join button. Firewall is off.
hmmm, i havent been able to test much long range, make sure you get the IP of the person whos hosting, also try some of the other IP's in the list, we've noticed that the specific IP needed can vary based on if a VPN is installed or whos connecting, hope this helps, if it doesnt try using the normal VPN network method.
We got it working using the vpn method. The game looks great! One problem is that there seems to be a problem where walls will spawn in front of doors, effectively making the game impossible to beat without killing the monster. Also, the AI for the monster feels really aggressive and as of right now near impossible to beat. Besides that my friends are really impressed with it! Keep it up!
