The Wyoming Incident

Using your less-than-ideal helicopter, search the vast wilderness. Manage your fuel carefully, and keep your helicopter in tip-top shape.

Search buildings for fuel and equipment to aid in your search. Trail cameras to keep tabs on important locations. Find notes and information to aid your search

Your first call comes in the form of your manager, who, having contacted you over radio, is concerned over the safety of a trio of hunters heading to the park entrance in a hurry.
But beware, other things stalk these woods at night, you're not the only one searching...

Developer Comments:
I've been wanting to explore vehicle mechanics for a while now, so i set out with this jam with a controllable helicopter in mind
Prior to the jam, my intital thoughts were to make a game where a group of players would hide from the helicopter, however after the theme was announced, I wanted to do something a little more clever and flipped the roles of the player and helicopter.
Usually, search helicopters in games typically are oppressive enemies that must be hidden from. But here, you're on the other end, the one searching, who then becomes the searched.
I also took some inspiration from games like Iron Lung, taking the cramped and blind sub and swapping it with the vast open air, where no matter where you look the tree line stares back, and Voices of the Void with its immersive mechanics and slow-burn horror
